We accept referrals from from the client, family doctor, school, stroke foundation, ACC and other professionals involved in the care of our clients. Please contact us to make a referral.

Speech Language Therapy for Adults including, but not restricted to:

Acquired Speech and Language Difficulties after stroke including aphasia, dysarthria, dyspraxia

Cognitive communication disorder after Traumatic Brain Injury
Voice Disorders
Swallowing Difficulties
Stuttering/Fluency Disorder
Specific language learning difficulties
Accent Modification
Speech disorders such as lisp, tongue thrust.
Post-surgical speech difficulties.

Speech Language Therapy for Children, including, but not restricted to:

Articulation disorders (speech sound errors)
Late talking/delay in early language development
Verbal or reading comprehension difficulties
Delay/disorder in verbal expressive language development
Stuttering
Childhood apraxia of speech
Reading delay or disorder
Auditory processing difficulties
Weak phonological awareness skills
Spelling/writing difficulties
Voice disorders

Other services include:

Professional supervision to other speech-language therapists anywhere in New Zealand.
Group workshops, education and training such as communication and swallowing difficulties after stroke for families and rest-home staff.
Contract and Locum cover to the Ministry of Health (Hospitals) and Ministry of Education (Special Education)
ACC subcontracting
Communication for workplace success including accent modification for ESL speakers

Student education and training
